This funfair carousel is such a dream for a blogger I could not believe my eyes when I found it in Paris. Being a blogger you constantly think about locations for photos and my blog is always at the back of my mind. I had just finished attending the Leonard show during Paris Fashion Week and Paris (the boy not the place) wanted to visit a friend, of course I wanted to attend more shows but it was only fair to let him have at least an hour away from the fashion chaos! Taxis are a nightmare to find in Paris so we had to walk and I was moaning the whole way through the park UNTIL I came across the carousel! I was embarrassingly overjoyed that it was broken and no children were on it……perfect for a photo shoot session. I am ashamed to say I did not think of the children but indeed a good photo.
I have always wanted to take photos on a carousel but they are not practical because firstly they move and secondly there are too many people in the background so I took my chance to finally pose in between the horse and the aeroplane. Of course lots of people decided to sit on the benches and watch me so I made it short and sweet and I definitely think it was worth it.
I love this Acne sweater so much however it is pretty heavy and the sleeves are super long. I am a big UK 8 small UK 10 and the small was perfect for me, the sizes are very generous even though it is obvious the sweater is over sized they are still very generous. If I had super skinny legs I would have def not been afraid to wear nothing underneath but seeing as I do not have skinny legs I chose to wear my Premonition Design vegan leather skirt that is such a staple piece from my wardrobe, everyone needs a black leather/faux leather skirt in their life. I think the Premonition Design one is perfect and it’s vegan which means low price and we save the animals! A leather skirt can be dressed down with a sweater like this, worn with a blouse for dinner or with a sparkly top for cocktails! The angle of the silhouette on my skirt is very flattering too. I would wear this jumper with jean shorts or a pair of jeans as well.
My boots are Jimmy Choo, I bought them over a year ago in the sale. I initially planned on buying the short biker boots but walked out with these over the knee ones which I regretted doing because the short ones are more wearable. However I am so glad I bought these ones and as they are more special and striking, knee high boots always come back into trend so invest in a good pair and keep them forever! You can get nice biker ankle boots anywhere on the high street but I feel it is harder to find a good pair of knee highs because if they look cheap you will basically look like a slut.
