Today I am off to Bicester village for their Christmas launch. I have been meaning to visit Bicester village for years so I am so excited. Follow my snapchat to to see what I get up to. @iamchouquette.
I love sharing casual outfits with you, because it’s the real me and I want to inspire you when you get dressed everyday; not show you silly outfits that I clearly don’t wear day to day.
Lets start with my phone case. So many of you have asked me on snapchat where it is from. Its from Willow of London (link in credits.) Thanks for sending me photos of your new Willow of London cases, I loved seeing them.
When I get dressed I am usually in a rush and I usually stick to the same thing, jeans and a tee/jumper because it’s practical and comfortable. However you can still make this look cool, edgy, chic, expensive and mix it up a little. It so easy to get this right in winter because knit wear just makes every outfit look the bomb, I call it the wonders of winter.
I love wearing black and I love wearing neutral tones, they are flattering on my skin and suit my age and city life. If you love colour then swap the beige jumper for a bright colour, which will also look super. Knitwear it so easy to play with, you can find all kinds of colours, styles and textures. They are so cosy and warm and perfect winter must have. This jumper was £34.99, which goes to show you do not have to spend the money to find a fab knitted jumper. This jump also comes in khaki here.
My sunglasses are my go to pair at the moment. This is the first time I have changed the lens from the opaque lens (worn here) to the black mirror. I love them and feel like I have a new pair of sunglasses. Such a fab invention to have a two for one pair of sunnies and of course greta value for money.
Invest in some fabulous boots, grab your favourite bag and off you go.
What do you think of my new CHANEL boots? This was the first time I have worn them.
I loved it that Emma had bought the same jumper as me. I really thought this was a secret find so it was hilarious when she had bought it too and we met each other wearing it. I wanted to takea photo of us both but there was no one to take it. I asked a traffic warden who said no (you may have seen this on snapchat) we then asked an elderly man who tried his best but we looked liked ants and just couldn’t use the photo. We then ended up asking another random man as he walked out of his house! I thought that we should maximise this opportunity and ask to sit on his beautiful door step. Before he could even answer I was sitting and dragged Emma down with me. We ended up being in fits of laughter and the man managed to capture this moment.
Moral of the story, appreciate good friends, be kind to them and they will bless you with their loyalty. Also grab every opportunity you get and make the most of every situation. In this case I wouldn’t stop until a stranger took a good photo and then I used his doorstep.
