There is something about investing into a navy coat that makes me feel like I have entered true adulthood. I have never seen the appeal due to being so fixated on black, I still love black but I think it is time to widen my wardrobe and invite new colours. This navy coat from Farfetch is the start of a new chic me, don’t laugh; I am going to give it a try.

You may have noticed I have done this with wearing more beige and even adventured to brown with my new Balenciaga shearling coat! These are all the colours I used to stay away from. As I am getting older, not old “older” I feel like the natural tones suit me better and are more gentle agent my skin tone. Layer different tones on beige feels really which to me and I have really enjoyed wearing new colours. Click here to see one of my recent all beige looks for winter.

Recently I borrowed one of Paris mums coat to walk the dogs. The coat was navy and looked identical to this EDITH one by Stella McCartney. Paris turned to me and said “you look chic in that coat, you should by a navy coat.” Probably the only time he has suggested to me to go shopping, so I took his advice and voila.

I really love the double breasted style with the over sized feel. This coat also comes in single breasted and it is called “Bryce“. I have the Bryce in camel and black too. Stay tuned for those photos on my blog soon. I have soooo many coats to share with you. I am actually a little bit shook how I managed to gather so many coats this year! I blame the British weather and it’s unpredictable climate. Last Christmas day the weather was bright sunshine, I was not happy at all about this but at least this year I am prepared for the sunny cold days, the brisk cold and the cold cold. A girl has gotta have option, right or wrong? This coat comes in camel and black and it also comes in the single breasted style in even more colours like blush nude.

There is also one last reason why I think a nacy coat is a must this winter and that is because it is all about the silver bag this season. I have found the perfect silver bag, it,s light weight, fits way more than I thought it would, it’s so photogenic (you know that’s a winner for me) and it looks PERFECT with absolutely everything; including navy coats. Click here to shop.

You can see the full range here. Don’t forget Stella McCarney is Italian sizing, I have no idea why because it’s a British brand. I am wearing size 42.

This tailored style of coat may seem perfect for the office or formal days, which it is but it is also perfect for casual days with sneakers. I am the biggest fan of these Golden Goose sneakers. I was surprised how comfy they are so I now have my eye on the copper and silver pair.

I also paired this look with some heels; it’s so easy to wear. I love these Manolo Blahnik heels, they are form the “fashion” range meaning they are not apart of the classic collection. I love their uniqueness but yet they still ooze that Manolo signature style. They also come in pink here.

I have a lot of questions about my Gucci Marmont bag. This is the large size, not the largest as they now have the maxi size which I am dying for. This is the most perfect travel bag and the perfect bag for my laptop. Do no the surprised if you see this in my wardrobe soon. Do you like the maxi size? This bag is unbelievably practical light weight, durable and easy to wear.

A navy coat is your ticket to chicness. Well it certainly my own ticket to chicness! I am really looking forward to sharing all my new coats with you and I am even filming a coat look book real soon so make sure you are subscribed to my YouTube channel.
