A couple of weeks ago I attended the Robert Pruitt for Jimmy Choo presentation. The night was a special night for me, as Jimmy Choo is close to my heart. The first major designer bag I received was by Jimmy Choo. The first pair of designer shoes I had were also Jimmy Choo, it is safe to say I love the brand. Not only was I looking forward to the event I was also looking forward to meeting a fellow fashion blogger; Tamara who writes Glam and Glitter 4Ever.
As I entered the mirrored boutique, greeted with blackberry mojitos and champagne, I was impressed with the lively atmosphere and warm welcome. We arrived just in time for the ‘Devil Panda Angel Panda’ presentation. We then enjoyed taking in the new collection whilst sipping our cocktails and eating beyond amazing PANDA sushi and popstick brownies.
Just before we were about to leave we discovered the photo booth!! Give a blogger a camera or a chance to pose we will take it with both hands! The photo booth was so much fun and such a nice touch to the evening. We left with our goodie bag, which was as amazing as everything else!
I can only describe this collaboration as; wearable art. The collection is so exquisite and unique. Despite the strong element of Robert Pruitt’s design the products still strongly represented Jimmy Choo, with the structured lines and feminine shapes. You can still spot this is a Jimmy Choo product…….Executed collaboration. You can buy and view the collection at JimmyChoo.com as well as at Net – A – Porter, where you can buy the exclusive Angel Swarovski crystal panda minaudière (£9,500!)
This was my first Jimmy Choo event and hopefully the start of many. My next event will struggle to compete with such an enjoyable night, mixed with a great collection, so great I may have to purchase some certain JC products soon.
P.S The rumours are true; The Jimmy Choo team are sooooo nice.
I am wearing: Zara shirt, Zara leopard trousers, YSL ring, Hermes cuff, Chanel J12 watch, Chanel brooch, Zara fur scarf, Christian Louboutin booties, MCM clutch bag with Cèline Phantom bag.
